Let’s take a closer look at this review.
1. Hostinger After Purchase Setup & Ease Of Use
As you can see their hosting website dashboard looks simple and clean.
You won’t have a problem with adding a website or all the options you need to update or change it.
This site’s design also looks very clean and simple.
Let’s install WordPress and see how easy it is.
Navigate to Hostinger’s dashboard.
Once you get there, look for the auto-installer and click it.
Now select WordPress and fill out the information that you want here.
Once you are ready, scroll down and click the install button.
Now give it a bit of time to load until it’s done.
And what about installing an SSL certificate with Hostinger?
It’s very simple and straightforward.
Now, what about creating an email account inside Hostinger?
Just go to email, click add new, and you’ll be able to put in whatever name you want, and set your password, and then click create.
It’s that simple.
You see here, my test email address has been installed.
It was easy to install the 3 things based on what I showed you.
They were all one click installers, which is really good from Hostinger.
So is Hostinger easy to use?: The Results
For setup and ease of use, Hostinger scores a 10 out of 10.
I don’t see a problem here.
Everyone, especially starters, will absolutely love how clean the new interface is and how much easier it is to find and navigate your site.
The interface here is one of the cleanest I’ve ever seen. I’m really impressed by Hostinger here.

2. Hostinger’s Speed & Uptime Performance Tests
For the speed test I used a barebones website (with only the basic WordPress installation) and plugged in into GTmetrix.
The time is 1.4 seconds.
Despite this being not my fastest attempt, they are close.
Now let’s make the website more normal and increase its size so we can get more real data.
If this feels too much for you don’t worry.
If you sign up for Hostinger using one of the links inside this article and send me the details at thegoldengooseoutlet(at)gmail.com I’m going to give you my ultimate course on how to do everything for free.
We are now going to try and install some plugins to speed up the website.
The first step is to install the WP fastest cache.
It is a plugin for speed optimization.
Then I’m going to install ShortPixel for image optimization.
Finally I’m going to also install the Cloudflare to make use of the free account CDN option.
My main goal is to make the website feel and look like what you would do normally.
After all of that the website speed is 3.2 seconds.
Even though they are still a little slower than the best performing ones in my test, Hostinger is still closer to the 3 second speed recommended by Google.
Hostinger still has one thing up its sleeve to try and get under that magical three-second marc, which is the Lightspeed cache plugin.
After I replaced WP fastest cache with Litespeed cache plugin, which is recommended by Hostinger my website speed is now 3 seconds.
That’s a 0.2-second improvement which proves that Lightspeed is a really good plugin.
Hostinger has achieved a 100% uptime rate in the past 30 days.
Based on their speed and uptime performance I give Hostinger an 8 out of 10.
I gave them 8 instead of 10 because even if the speed is very good it’s not as good as some as the most premium hosting companies like SiteGround.
Here is a quick question for you:
Do you think Hostinger’s page load speed of 3 seconds is faster or slower than what you expected?

3. Hostinger Customer Support Rating
It’s good to know that Hostinger provides customer support using 2 different methods:
Email ticket system and live chat.
In order to see how they would do I would contact and ask them 3 simple but important questions:
Question 1: My website has been infected by a virus. Can you help me?
Question 2: What is your domain name price and how much does it cost to renew my plan?
Question 3: Could do me a favor and install my SSL certificate because it’s too difficult for me?
Here are their results.
Question 1 Results:
Hostinger did a manual scan on my website and were eager to help find the virus but they didn’t offer to remove it.
Instead their solution was to use a previous backup that didn’t have the virus. They didn’t want any money for this.
Question 2 Results:
I discovered that they do not provide live chat for new customers.
You do get this offer only when you have already bought a plan.
It took 28 minutes for me to reply to another email they sent me.
The response I got was good and helpful tho.
Question 3 Results:
Hostinger didn’t hesitate and helped me install my CloudFlare CDN for free.
The process only took 15 minutes, which is quite good.
It could be done a little faster but I’m still happy with the results.
Here’s the average response time I got from the for the 3 different questions was 9, 28, and 4 minutes.
Which makes around 14-minute wait time for them to respond back mainly via email.
Sadly anything above 5 minute is not fast but it’s not too bad either.
Because of that I’m giving Hostinger’s support and response time a 6 out of 10.
I decided to give them a 6 because their support was not perfect.
The people were helpful but too slow to respond back. In addition they don’t offer a 24/7 live chat for people looking who want to use them.
However, even after all that, they still do not appear that bad.

4. Pricing Options For Hostinger Shared Hosting Plans
Now let me compare their shared hosting plan since Hostinger also offers cloud and VPS hosting options so you will have additional options if your company grows and you want to move up to a higher level of service.
After you’ve clicked the link, you scroll down, and choose the plan that you are looking for.
Hostinger offers 3 different shared hosting plans.
Hostinger’s Number Of Websites Comparison
You can only have one website on the single tier.
For an additional fee, you can have 100 websites.
In addition, the SSD storage for their single plan is just 10 gigabytes, while the premium plan is 20 gigabytes and the business plan is 100 gigabytes.
How many visitors can you get?
It’s important to know that the number of people they can handle at once varies as well.
If you choose a single plan, then you are only allowed to receive 10,000 monthly visitors.
Afterward it increases to 25,000 and then to 100,000 on the highest plan.
Hostinger offers a nice free gift of free domain and unlimited email accounts on their two top tier plans.
Free Automatic Backup
And lastly, a worthy feature that Hostinger provides on the highest plan is the free automated daily backup.
This feature is usually not available in most companies.
On one plan, Hostinger offers it free of charge, but some companies charge an extra amount of money.
It is easy to make a decision when it comes to Hostinger.
Which Hostinger plan is the best choice?
Well it depends.
If you are just starting out and would use only 1 website that I recommend you to start with the single most basic plan.
Choosing the premium plan is good if you are going to host several websites.
In case you already have a huge website that has thousands of visitors each month and are migrating from another company then your best bet is the business plan.
How to pick a plan for Hostinger? Step By Step Guide
For this example I’m going to go with the business plan.
After choosing your plan, you’ll be taken to the checkout page.
As you can see from the screenshot below there are 4 different options when it comes to the time period of your purchase.
Buying the longest plan offered by Hostinger is your best option if you are trying to save money.
That way you are going to pay the least amount of money and you can still cancel it and get your money back within the first 30 days.
Now you see why you do not want to choose the one-month, 12-month or 24-month options when you find out that a 48-month plan costs just $3.99.
You’re normally stuck with your hosting provider, if you’re satisfied with him for a very long time.
However, if you decide that Hostinger isn’t right for you, then you can always get a full refund within their 30-day money back guarantee.
Once you have filled in all the payment details, click on submit secure payment.
Hostinger’s Overall Pricing Score
I would give Hostinger pricing an overall score of 9 out of 10.
Because compared to a lot of other options Hostinger is a really cheap hosting company starting at just $0.99 per month.
Additionally, Hostinger is transparent with usage limits and renewal cost, which are permitted in each hosting plan.
And let’s not forget the free Lightspeed Cache plugin for WordPress.
You get it for free no matter which plan you choose and as you saw it actually does work and makes your website a little bit faster.
Remember that not many hosting companies offer individual speeding plugins. The only other I can think of is SiteGround but they are way more expensive.
Finally I want to give Hostinger some credit for giving great value for the price.
One point was deducted for not having free automatic daily backups included with their shared hosting plans.
In order to get that you must pay for their business plan.
This is a very worthwhile feature for users, and I believe they should always be included in every plan.
Should you get Hostinger? (My Opinion After The Tests)
My overall rating for Hostinger is 8 out of 10.
Hostinger is a really solid hosting provider, they have cheap hosting plans and the user interface is clean and easy to navigate and their speed and uptime performance is also great.
So this is my recommendation for you, whether you’re a beginner or advanced user looking for a well-rounded hosting provider who is above average in all areas, then I believe Hostinger is worth considering.
However, if you care about a particular aspect, more than others, like speed, performance, or support, and you want the best of that criteria, then I don’t think Hostingeris the right option for you.
You would be better to go with SiteGround.
Click here if you want to check SiteGround them out.
Now I think picking the right hosting provider is such a crucial step in your business so it’s important that you get this right?
So if after reading this review, you think Hostinger is not the right hosting provider for you then I recommend you check out SiteGround, which I know will do the job.
But if you’re happy with Hostinger, then I recommend you go to click here and check it’s best current price.
And that was everything.
